Baobab Community College

Since 1985 the Baobab Centre has trained Primary Teachers, Nursery School Teachers and Childcare Workers from the townships and rural areas.

The Centre has facilitated the establishment of many pre-schools in disadvantaged communities and the following nursery/primary schools:

Inkanyezi Waldorf School, Alexandra, Johannesburg

Lesedi Waldorf School, rural, near Pietersburg

Three-year Training Course for Educare Workers to become holistic pre-school teachers

Training of Woodwork Teachers for primary schools

Training for Carpentry

Continued In-Service Training in the above schools

In order to serve disadvantaged communities, we are dependent on the goodwill of individuals, corporates and trusts.

Donations are tax-deductible through the legal carrier of the Centre for the Art of Living Educational Trust.
